A day-long seminar commemorating 75 years of Indian Independence was organised on 12 August 2022 as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The seminar was organised by the Research Assistants, PhD Scholars and Students of the Department of Museology, National Museum Institute. The story of ‘India’s Struggle for freedom’ was narrated through representative Objects and Collections. The thrust was on telling a comprehensive Story of India’s Freedom Struggle starting from 1498 and coming up to the Integration of India.

The seminar deliberated upon lesser known events, stories, movements and personalities pertaining to the Indian Freedom Movement.
