Date: 20th & 21st December, 2021

A two day National seminar was organized on “India’s Struggle for Freedom“ by the Department of Museology, National Museum institute on 20th & 21st December, 2021. This National Seminar was organized as part of the content creation exercise for the upcoming museum on the ‘Freedom Struggle of India’ at the A1 Barrack, Red Fort.

In order to commemorate 75 years of India’s independence a museum on India’s Freedom Struggle is being conceptualized and designed so as to showcase to the people of India the complete story of Freedom Struggle in a comprehensive manner with an emphasis on the lesser-known stories and unsung heroes.  The museum aims to highlight the spiritual reawakening of India and contribution of spiritual leaders.
