‘Gandhi for All’- 11th Workshop in the series - Workshop at Talim-Ul-Quran, a Madrasa situated in the premises of Jama Mazjid at Seemapuri, New Delhi: 19th September 2019
On 19th of September 2019 Department of Museology, National Museum Institute has reached out to Talim-Ul-Quran, a Madrasa situated in the premises of Jama Mazjid at Seemapuri, New Delhi to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. With an aim to reach out to the diverse segments of the nation to include children in the celebration and learning about the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi the department organised a workshop on the life journey, philosophy of self-reliance and self-sustenance of Gandhiji. A cohort of 40 students were involved in the workshop.
The workshop was organised under the guidance of HOD & Dean Prof (Dr.) Manvi Seth by research assistant Huma Khan, Sakshi Kukreti, Anand Hari and Sushant Bharti respectively.
The workshop included:
- Story Telling about the Gandhiji’s life journey and events
- Photo exhibition
- Discovery Box and hands on experience
- Objects related activities
