Workshop for the children of the Pediatric Ward, AIIMS - "Museum goes to Hospital"

The department of Museology organised a day long workshop for the children of the Pediatric Ward, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The workshop was organised with the support of Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA), Delhi.

The workshop is a part of the project 'Museum goes to Hospital'. 50 children from the pediatric ward, AIIMS participated in the workshop. The workshop program consisted of guided gallery tours, discussions and storytelling within the National Museum galleries and activities in the activity room. The activities centered around museum objects and consisted of clay modelling, drawing and painting, puzzles etc.

The workshop was coordinated by Prof. (Dr.) Manvi Seth and Manjari Agrawal. Research Fellows, Juhi Sadiya, Sushil Kumar and the students of II Semester, Department of Museology participated in the planning, organization and execution of the workshop.
