Scope of Study

We offer M.A degree in Museology as full time course. Scholarships are provided to meritorious students of each semester of M.A Degree. During the course of study, apart from regular assignments, students are required to submit two seminars and one dissertation for the fulfillment of their degree. We offer ample scope to study for a Masters Degree to focus on special subject matter for research or to meet various requirements at every step of museum career.

If one wishes to take academic and professional studies further, you can apply to join our research corner by studying for PhD. Pursuing research in this institute has played an influential role in weighing the originality of research work. Since museology is an inter-disciplinary subject, PhD students are working in diversified fields including archaeology, art history, anthropology, management, cultural heritage, and so on. During the course of research, students are required to present two seminars in 3-5 years.
